Overall best games and films of the decade according to IGN...

Agree or disagree, no matter what your opinion is, There is no possible way that Spiderman 2 is better than Avatar.

You can read the yearly ones on the site.

The movie list is laughable, which leads me to not click the games list.

300 and Avatar. Oh dear. And no mention of Halo is criminal.

The film list is quite poor however, the game list isn't too bad.

I can only think of two noticeable omissions; Halo and Metroid Prime.

Is it me or is The Fellowship of the Ring the best Lord of the Rings film? I never understood why Return of the King always 'wins' out against the earlier two films that I feel are not only better films but are also, more importantly, better book to film adaptations.

Oh well...

300 and Avatar are rightly so in the top 10, Avatar especially; i went to see it expecting big things and it simply blew me away, for me its raised the bar for films by a huge margin. Ive never seen anything like it. 300 as well is also technically brilliant, the style of the film is unique to anything else bar Sin City, which was a poor adoptation anyway. Not convinced about the games list, i have to agree no Halo or Metroid Prime is criminal.

I think the film list is indicative of the site to be honest, it's no shock that they're all films that are popular amongst 18-35 men.
