Both Playasia and Yesasia are taking orders. I'm probably gonna order this alongside Popn'music Portable this week. I think the karaoke mode is like Band Brothers in that you can play the normal game without having to sing(I hope).

My copy finally shipped from PA but i gave in & went to the dark side & got the download while i waited for the 2 weeks for my legit copy to arrive.

Not going to do a proper first play thread till i have my offiicial copy but i have played a bit this evening so i can least inform you all of the bits & for once konami haven't screwed things up like they did on the wii.

This is essentially pop'n'music done right, it controls great & you dont have to worry as the singing isnt required you can play with tapping alone of you want.

I must admit on easy it's still pretty tricky, dont expect a dumbed down kiddy version. Even on 3 lanes it had me tapping on some songs like a loony. Theres options for 1 lane, 3 lanes or hard mode which is 5 lanes.

Theres 4 kinds of notes that come down, red just need a tap, blue you hold in until the end of the note has finished, green notes you need to wiggle up & down while holding & yellow notes need you to flick up after touching.

Theres 40 songs in the game & from what i have heard so far theres a nice mix of jpop stuff.

Thats enough for now, i'll do a more indepth first play when my proper copy turns up In the meantime, anyone sat on the fence, i'd say buy it. It's a solid music game.

Did a few gameplay vids so you can see how it works, not super brilliant but you can get an idea, first vid i actually play but it's hard to hold the camera & concentrate with the other hand so the other vids are of it on autoplay.

I ordered this the other day from Yesasia but have to wait until Popn'music Portable comes back in stock before it's shipped. Would you say it's challenging Importaku? Some of the marketing I've seen for it suggests they're aiming it at a younger audience than usual.

Some songs are hard but nowhere near what pop n music throws at you as you only have to concentrate on one note at a time unlike pop'ns 9 buttons nightmare. But at least it's not super dumbed down which is what i was fearing where you can 100% combo each song with your eyes closed.
