Imo the control system they used for LotR: Battle for Middle Earth 2 worked very well. Hopefully they will be using something similar, just a little more refined.

Yup. I started about 2.5 hours ago and it's at 73%.

Edit: actually, in the ten to fifteen miutes since I last checked it's zoomed up to 75%.

I set it off to download but didn't look at the time, then all of a sudden I saw a popup saying "Can't download Command...etc...demo"

Mine got to 42% after 6 hours. I cancelled and tried again and it started at 15% but didn't budge. I again cancelled, then it went to 1% and it won't go up from there. I've deleted and started from scratch but it won't go above 1% FFS I'm on 8meg too.

After hitting 77% I eventually got a "Cannot be downloaded error". I thought it was coz I was at the limit of my memory so deleted it (and some other stuff) and started again. Now at 32%.

No, whenever you download something, like this demo for example, it will free up 1gb of space on your hard drive before it starts to download.

Well I managed to try the demo and it seems to run ok! The PC version is still the better game, but if you can't run it then I'd pick this up on the 360, because it's not a far behind 2nd best. :)

Shame as they have come so far since BFMEII just wish MS could let people use a mouse with the 360 (hell they even make them).
Maybe a PS3 port with mouse and keyboard controls would work, but then the graphics would remain :(

Y'know, I would, but my computer is incapable of running it, so I'll have to stick to the 360 version.

Gonna take some getting used to the controls though, after having played C&C games on PCs for years.

Other than the rubbish looking shadows, the game looked great to me. What was your issue with it?

lol i liked the shadows, but struggled with the controls. found them too sensitive. Couldnt find an option in-game to de-sensitise them, is there one on the main menu?

Quite liked the in-game FMV though.

I enjoyed it too. Enough to pre-order the Asian version from Play Asia.

In addition to four way Live battles (with Vision Camera support) there are two exclusive multiplayer modes for the 360: Capture the Flag and Siege.

Should be fun with an NTSC group.

Other than the rubbish looking shadows, the game looked great to me. What was your issue with it?
It looked less detailed with less effects than it does on my PC, I just think for a retail price of nearly £20 more it should have more than vision cam suport.

This is a great demo, I just had a game with someone on live, it never ended. We were going over an hour.
I managed to pummel me in the end, I kept moving my bases and building them everywhere. He just had an army of like 50 juggernauts that could destroy everything from a stupid range, the only thing I kind find to hurt them were orcas, which even in a group of 8 could only take down 2 at a time.
